Organic tea and pepper produced at Hathikuli, is free from  chemicals, fertilisers, pesticides, toxic substances, synthetic hormones and is certified according to international standards for organic production and processing. These natural farming practices have encouraged newer species of birds, animals and insects to thrive in the region.
