Amalgamated Plantations Pvt. Ltd. (APPL) has been honoured with the Gold Medal at the 11th Edition of the India Green Manufacturing Challenge (IGMC). This prestigious recognition acknowledges APPL’s commitment to Business Continuity through sustainable practices, including green energy initiatives, regenerative agriculture, afforestation and reforestation (ARR), skill development, and women empowerment.
The award is based on a comprehensive assessment of Operational Sustainability conducted by the International Research Institute for Manufacturing (IRIM). The IGMC event was co-hosted by CNBC 18.
APPL was also honoured with the Gold Medal under the SEEM (Society of Energy Engineers & Managers) Awards, a national-level programme recognising organisations leading India’s transition towards a low-carbon, energy-efficient future.
This national recognition underscores APPL’s commitment to minimising environmental impact through renewable energy adoption, energy-efficient technologies, and process optimisation across its tea estates and factories.
Felicitation of Gender Champions
At the SEWA Silver Jubilee Programme, the Honourable Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Lt Gen Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik (Retd), presented the Best Community Action Award to Ms. Anastacia Toppo and Ms. Hemma Reddy of Kellyden Tea Estate. This achievement was also featured in The Assam Tribune.

Awards and Events
Powai Tea Estate, APPL wins Silver Medal award under NAMC (National Awards for Manufacturing Excellence) in June 2025. In the frame, Mr. Dushyant Singh, Deputy Manager Powai, is collecting the award on behalf of APPL. This event is organized by IRIM (International Research Institute for Manufacturing).
APPL won the highest Sustainability Award at the 14th North America Annual Tea Conference held between 3rd–5th September 2025, jointly hosted by the Tea Association of the USA, Inc. and the Tea and Herbal Association of Canada.
